WHO I AM & WHAT I STAND FOR
Hey, my name is Katie! I'm a 30-Year-old Wedding & Family Photographer living in the quiet Northampton village of Earls Barton with my husband and our wonderful little boy, Lucian.
My loved ones will often describe me as quirky, which is what I love to incorporate into in my images! Quirky, definitely a nicer way of saying weird, but I'll take it as a compliment!
I love anything old fashioned & rustic, from listening to classic rock to browsing through antique shops, dreaming of how I’d decorate my home.
I'm a HUGE family person, a fan of all Marvel movies, & enjoy my spare time snuggled in the comfiest clothes, with a tea in my hand, surrounded by the best company, playing silly board games.
I'm obsessed with love, so yes you will catch me tearing up at your wedding and cracking up at your speeches!
When it comes to photography, I have been shooting for over 10 years. It all began when I quit my A Levels after discovering that they could not support my career dream in photography, and so I went onto studying photography at Bedford College for 2 years! From then I went onto studying commercial photography at Arts University Bournemouth as I wanted to learn more of the business side to self employment. In between all that studying, I worked in studios & commercially for companies, including being a product fashion photographer for Amazon.co.uk LTD & a travel school photographer, shooting in the most amazing places of Qatar, Germany & Holland! With all this said, I am proud to say I have a Diploma & a Bachelors Honours Degree in what I love doing most!
After experimenting & trying out so many different parts of the photography industry, I was ALWAYS drawn back to weddings, families & newborns. The natural, authentic atmosphere when walking into each of these photo sessions cannot be beaten!

Let's have a coffee together
So we can get to know each other more, so that you haven’t just got a complete stranger there on your wedding day.
When it comes to your big day
I like to turn up an hour early so I can walk around the venue to get a plan of how the day will play out, and to meet you before the guests start arriving. I will photograph your bridal/groom prep, but don’t worry, I make sure to not get in the way of you getting ready as I understand how much you’ve got to do during your morning!
I will get your bridal party shots as well as the groomsmen shots, and any first look shots you may decide on! Then the ceremony begins, and it’ll be the best moment of your lives. After you’ve said your “I Do’s” and mingle with your guests for a while, I will then take your formal family photographs, before whisking you away for your intimate couple shots (after the confetti of course!)
Then it’s food & speeches time! and you get every little detail photographed without you even noticing I’m there, capturing your guests having a wonderful time. After your meal, I will most likely ask you to get some more couple shots so we can get you during the sunset (golden hour is my favourite time), then the rest of the night is full of cake-cutting, first dances, and partying the night away! I like to stay a little longer than what my wedding packages say so that I make sure I haven’t missed out on any amazing moments.

My next task is to edit your beautiful images, and get your gallery ready for you to view, as well as any prints you might have chosen to go along with your package. Your big day is yours, and I like to make sure I capture your personalities in every image!
